Please note that you must register and contact Ray @ gwrepray@aol.com to let him know that you are going so a spot can be reserved for you at our location. I plan on convoying up friday evening (greater Seattle people) (for those coming from Oregon can take a different convoy), I am staying at the Three rivers hotel just a few minutes away from the maryhill museum. There are a few motels in glendale, the state park on the river and also Peach Beach a private campground next to the sate park The link to register is here (http://www.goldendalemotorsports.org/Concours-de-Maryhill.php) Schedule is as follows Friday:
4:30 PM (for those of you traveling from the greater Seattle area) Meet at the Eastgate park and ride in Bellevue around 4:30PM (Take Exit 10B from I90 east) (We will be taking I90 as it is has the least traffic from the greater Seattle area to Goldendale WA)
6:00 PM Stop in Cle Elm at 6PM grab dinner where ever in cle elm
7:00 PM Meet across the street from napa 104 W Railroad Ave, Cle Elum, WA 98922 and depart from Cle Elm
Arrive at 8:30PM And get ready for bed
Saturday:
9:00 a.m. - Vehicle registration begins; Silent auction begins; Raffle ticket sales begin. Prizes raffled throughout the day. Grand Prize 32” TV
12:00 p.m. - Maryhill Loops Vintage Hillclimb Association (MLVHA) racers arrive; Open Show ballots due at Registration table
12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. - Maryhill Loops Road open to drive. Save your spot and return after the drive
1:30 p.m. – MLVHA Race Car voting ballots due at Registration table
2:30 p.m. - Silent Auction ends
3:00 p.m. - Raffle Grand Prize TV
3:30 p.m. - Awards Ceremony
4:00 p.m. - Event Dinner – Get tickets at the Registration tent during the show. Ticket price: $18
After dinner we drive the short distance to the Stone hedge replica 97 Stonehenge Dr, Goldendale, WA 98620 for a visit and a group picture.
At after the group picture, we will go to to the Washington state park and look at the stars! The state park has it's own observatory where we can see planets and such!
For those who are camping there should totally be a campfire for all of us to chat and enjoy each others company!
Sunday:
9:00 AM We will locate a overlook off the highway in Goldendale to watch the hill climb races, or for those of us who are wanting to get closer to the action we could go to the start of the hill climb races, there's a old school bus that you can ride up and it will stop at several locations where you can get off to observe the race!
12:00PM Possible lunch. I (caleb) will keep you updated
3:00 PM race will finish and we can head back to our camp sites or hotels to pack up and get ready to leave
4:00 PM for those of us who are traveling back to the seattle area. Meet at the Maryhill museum for a convoy back! :)
6:50 PM (for those going back to seattle area via convoy) Arrive at the caboose bar and grill and grab some grub
Whenever we finish dinner head back and enjoy the rest of your week! :)
